All numeric operations in the program are executed by means of real numbers with an accuracy of 15 digits, the exponent ranging between -308 and +308 (the so called double precision of 8 bytes). On entering a number, the exponent expression (for example 12.34e-45) can be used. The number text must not contain a space. The decimal point or comma may be used during entering.

When entering a number it is possible to enter the $ (dollar character) in front of it to express a number in the hexadecimal form. Thus, for instance, the entry of $1F corresponds to 31. Similarly, by entering the % (percent character) a number can be entered in the binary form. Thus, for instance, the entry of %1001 corresponds to 9.
